Cycle Standard Pop-Up Gas Cap Large Diameter – Chrome – Vented – For Harley 1996 & Later

This pop-up gas cap adds a clean, low-profile look to your 1996 and later Harley-Davidson motorcycle (and most aftermarket gas tanks). This vented gas cap sits nearly flush with the surface of your gas tank. On Harleys with two fillers on the gas tank, this cap is for the ride-hand side, which uses a vented gas cap.

This larger diameter pop up cap has a 2.75″ diameter trim ring (the largest diameter section that lays flat against the gas tank). This ensures that the weld seam on the gas tank filler bung is fully covered. On Harley-Davidson motorcycles 2018 and later this bung size changed, and the trim ring on the smaller diameter (2.35″) pop-up caps doesn’t fully cover it. The diameter of the pop-out cap with knurled edge is 1.5″.

To use, simply place fingers on center of cap, rotate cap 1/4 turn, and the spring loaded center pops-up. Turning the center then unscrews the entire assembly, after screwing cap back in, push down on the center section and rotate it 1/4 turn to return the center to the flush position.
